SMO AFRICA / STAYS & TABLES

Beautifully hosted.
Personally connected.

The places we stay. The tables we share. The people who give the journey its character.

BEAUTIFULLY HOSTED. PERSONALLY CONNECTED.

The stay is beautiful.
The company is exceptional.

Beautiful places to wake up. A chef setting the tone for the evening. A conversation you are still thinking about at breakfast.

This is how eleven days become something you carry home.

YOUR THREE SOUTH AFRICAN ADDRESSESPLANNED ACCOMMODATIONS · 10 NIGHTS
01
JOHANNESBURG · THREE NIGHTS

A private address.
A personal welcome.

Our planned Johannesburg residence brings the group together in a luxurious, intimate setting. A place to settle in, exchange first impressions and let the welcome extend beyond the front door.

02
INSIDE PILANESBERG · TWO NIGHTS

Stay in the landscape
you came to experience.

Two nights at a lodge inside Pilanesberg place the bush at the center of your stay. Morning and afternoon game drives, leisurely time between them and evenings back at the lodge give this chapter its own rhythm.

03
CAPE TOWN · FIVE NIGHTS

Unpack properly.
Make yourself at home.

A luxurious private residence is the planned Cape Town base, with Camps Bay the setting under consideration. Five nights allow time to explore the city, Peninsula and Winelands, then return to the comfort and familiarity of our own gathering place.

The planned accommodation approach is private residences in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with a lodge inside Pilanesberg. Final properties, room configurations and amenities will be confirmed.

The chef sets the table.
The people make the evening.

Our planned Johannesburg and Cape Town Tables pair executive-chef-led dining with the pleasure of being thoughtfully introduced. The menu gives the evening its beginning. The company gives it somewhere to go.

THE JOHANNESBURG TABLE

A city in conversation.

A private dinner with invited entrepreneurs, artists and cultural voices. Hear how they see their city, what they are building and what they want the world to understand. Ask the next question. Let the conversation find its own direction.

THE CAPE TOWN TABLE

An evening worth lingering over.

Executive-chef-led dining, South African wine and invited local creatives and hosts. A gathering designed around generous hospitality, personal stories and the easy pleasure of discovering how much you have in common.

A carefully chosen table can change the way you see a place.

Signature dining experiences are planned. Chef appointments, invited guests, venues, menus and beverage arrangements remain subject to confirmation.
MARBLE · ROSEBANK, JOHANNESBURG

Fire at the heart.
Company at the table.

Marble brings live-fire cooking to Rosebank’s Keyes Art Mile. It is one of the dining possibilities we are considering as the Johannesburg chapter takes shape.

An evening with a sense of occasion, a well-chosen table and time to enjoy both the food and the company.

Closer to the people.

There is pleasure in seeing something extraordinary.
There is another kind in meeting the person behind it.

A private viewing.
A different perspective.

A planned private art viewing, with conversation around the work and the people who bring it into the world. Meet invited artists, a gallery host or creative voices as arrangements develop. Art, a glass of Cap Classique and room to ask what caught your eye.

Artist spotlight shown as inspiration. Participation by Kufa Makwavarara or StateoftheART is not confirmed.
02 / THE WINELANDS, PERSONALLY

The wine has a story.
Meet someone who knows it.

A curated day of tastings and an estate lunch, with Klein Goederust featured in the preliminary Winelands plan. A personal introduction to a winemaker or proprietor is proposed, subject to arrangements. Return to Cape Town for an evening at leisure.

03 / THE PRIVATE YACHT FAREWELL

One last table.
A whole new horizon.

A privately chartered yacht. Cape Town from the water. A farewell dinner planned around the company that has formed over the journey. A final evening to raise a glass, revisit the moments and make plans to stay in touch.

Charter, onboard dining, food and drinks are planned. Vessel, route and sunset timing are to be arranged and depend on weather and operating conditions.
04 / WILLIAM & THE PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY

A welcome with
someone behind it.

William hosts the welcome and brings a personal perspective to the journey. Local guides, invited entrepreneurs, artists, chefs and cultural voices add their own. Each introduction is intended to open a conversation and make the country feel more personal.

THE WINELANDS, PERSONALLY · FEATURED ESTATE

Klein Goederust.
A place. A glass. A story.

A wine-tasting chapter in Franschhoek, with Klein Goederust featured in our preliminary plans. Time to discover the wines, enjoy the setting and let lunch become part of the conversation.

These are planned signature experiences for the preliminary journey. Specific people, venues and access are not confirmed. Their final placement will be coordinated with the preliminary itinerary.

THE HUMAN SIDE OF HOSPITALITY

Good taste.
Even better company.

The pleasure is in the details. The care in a drink. The welcome around a table. The people who turn an evening into a memory.

That is the spirit of our planned Johannesburg and Cape Town Tables: thoughtful food, a small gathering and room for the conversation to go somewhere.
